Swaati Nirkhi
A young entertainer and a popular name in the Devotional genre, Swaati Nirkhi has in a short span of time won accolades from audiences and listeners from all over the nation. Swaati hails from the Kayastha family of Allahabad. She has to her credit the Prabhakar degree of Music from the prestigious Prayag Sangeet Samiti Institute. She is an approved artist of North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC).
Alka Yagnik and Richa Sharma are her inspirations in the field of contemporary Indian music while the legendary duo Lata Mangeshkar and Aasha Mangeshkar are her favorite singers. Swaati's dream is to learn music of "every flavor and of every tradition of India"; the dream for which she devotes more than 5 hours of daily practice.
Swaati is a regular Stage show performer who has performed in shows in various Indian states. Apart from regular singing engagements she is also a live-show performer for Khatu Shyam, Devi Jagran, Ghazals, Geets and Bhajans. She also leads a music group which comprises of complete orchestra of musicians.
